2018
It is time to go home! Naughty puppies have decided it is fun to dig!!! Not just a little but a lot!!
Wyatt is on his way home to Dewitt with Bob. He is going to be working with Jeff Gilcrest towards a master hunter title.
I want to thank you for allowing me to be a part of your new family members life. With a little good luck, these pups will enrich your life for the next 12 to 15 years. They have been given a great start, now they need to learn to fit into your family. These next few months are critical in their training. Remember that what might be cute in a puppy, isn’t always cute in an adult dog, so keep that in mind with what you allow your pup to get away with!
Most of you will probably be spending the next couple of nights with interuppted sleep, but remember, just like all babies, they eventually sleep through the night! And just like all babies, you blink your eyes and they are all grown up. So enjoy your babies
Please remember, do not take your pups to any dog parks until they are fully vaccinated. Also it is very important to not spay or neuter them until they are a year old.
Right now you will accomplish a good basis for all future learning! Keep them socialized with a goodpuppy kindergarten. What you teach them now will establish the groundwork that will give you a great Brittany for years to come! They love to please, make it fun for you and your pup!
Please keep in touch and let me know how your pup is progressing. I would love to know what the full size of these pups turns out to be. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me and I will try to answer any questions and concerns you may have. Your littermate owners are also a great source of information for you! Feel free to download any pics from the webpage, it is now under past litters. Remember that I always love getting pictures and stories!
Thanks again for letting me share the beginning weeks of your new best friends!!
Take care and HAVE FUN!!!!!

Chew-Worthy
For those of you looking to get some great things to chew for your new puppy, I can highly recommend this assortment, field tested when Riley was 6 months old! I found that the Whimzees, although expensive, were a great time chewer for young puppies. The smallest toothbrushes got me about 20 minutes, medium about 40 and the larger ones, up to an hour! That's one hour of a busy puppy! A good thing!!!! She got one every morning while we had coffee and at night if the big dogs were put away! They are not for adult dogs unless you have an unlimited budget, they still love them, but adult jaws go through them in seconds .
I like the Benebones because of the curve on them. Straight Nylabones sit around my house, but Benebones are chewed by all my dogs. Most of these products are available at any good pet store. Other favorites are a soft chew animal and a kong tennis ball or stuffed kong.
Celestria is headed to Ohio with the Wainrights. She will be meeting Remi who is an Abbey/Luke puppy.
Lilly is now Jess and will be joining two other brittanys!
The pups got their collars today! Lots of scratching!!
Our first girl is headed home to Wisconsin, she is now Penelopy! Clarity met her aunt (?) Izzy. Abbey is Izzy's mom and Penny's Grammy.
Welcome!
